Named for the Hector’s dolphins that swim off Akaroa, Hector’s Gin comes in four flavour profiles foraged from Banks Peninsula. This blend of local botanicals is gathered by forager Peter Langlands. Peppery kawakawa and horopito are sweetened with local lemons and honey.
We are delighted to announce a partnership with the New Zealand Whale and Dolphin Trust. The trust is a world-class, research driven organisation who are totally committed to the conservation of New Zealand’s whales and dolphins. Their research includes population surveys, studies of whale and dolphin reproduction, survival and human impacts.
We are proud to be giving back to the conservation of the Hector’s dolphins by donating a portion of our Hector’s Gin sale proceeds from our Tasting House to the New Zealand Whale and Dolphin Trust to aid their continuing good work with the preservation of our Hector’s dolphin friends.
